Casa Mariposa (butterfly house) is a luxurious four bedrooms, four bath, vacation rental located in Puerto Aventuras, a quaint exclusive community. Casa Mariposa is one of the few ocean-front private home in the area.

We invite you to a relaxing and rejuvenating stay while you enjoy the beauty of the enchanted Mayan Riviera. Casa Mariposa overlooks the sparkling azure waters that offer a reef full of tropical fish. Casa Mariposa offers four bedrooms (all with showers), each with King size beds and private bathrooms, as well as TV and DVD player. All rooms are unique with attention given to finest detail.  The dining area is also impressive with the large dining table which has seating for eight set against the background of a wall of Mayan stones. From the dining room is access to the fully equipped kitchen with a bar area which has additional seating. Above the sitting areas of both suites are domed ceilings of hand made brick and each sitting area has soft leather couches from which to enjoy the spectacular ocean views in comfort. One of the couches is a sofa bed which can also be used to sleep 2 additional people.

If you are the adventurous type, drive 15 minutes into Playa del Carmen and enjoy open-air shopping on 5th street, a day trip into Cozumel, or the vibrant nightlife. Or in less than an hour you can be in exciting Cancun, exploring the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum, or enjoying the day at one of the two eco-parks Xel-Ha and Xcaret

Casa Mariposa is a family owned/operated villa, and has been recently renovated and decorated with an eclectic mix of Indonesian furniture, 17th century antiques, custom furnishings in rattan and bamboo, lush gardens, fine linens and modern appliances in the immaculate kept home.

Rates are in US dollars and 12 % of taxes included (Personal Currency Assistant™)
$750 Security deposit plus 50% of rental to reserve - balance due 60 days prior your arrival
Security deposit is fully refundable less US dollars 25 per processing fee, 15 days after check-out
Rate includes 3 cleaning sessions per week, more are available upon request

Weekly rates are based on 6 people occupancy, max 8 persons
Additional charge per extra person (150 US dollar p/person p/ night) above normal occupancy

From Christmas to April 30th, rentals are from Saturday to Saturday only
Reservations require a 50% RENTAL DEPOSIT within 7 DAYS of booking for confirmation.
The BALANCE of RENTAL and the $750 SECURITY DEPOSIT must be received within 60 DAYS prior to the arrival date.
Payment Methods include: wire transfer ($25.00 fee), bank deposit (inside Mexico) and credit card through pay pal (add 5%)
