Looking for something a little special; a chance to really connect with the destination you are travelling to? Looking to book with people who really care about the local destinations; the people, cultures and environment? You have to try swimming with whale sharks in Holbox Island.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:

The "ULTIMATE" whale shark adventure awaits you this May, June, July and August 2010 on ISLA HOLBOX or Holbox Island (Near Cancun). Once you arrive to Chiquila, you will be grouped together and after an early morning coffee reception where we review the Rules & Regulations, and answer questions, you'll be assigned to one of our Lanchas for the ride to the whale shark feeding area, where you will swim in groups of 2 with a licensed biologist / guide. You will round-robin 2 at a time, until each person has had 2, sometimes 3 swim episodes of approximately 10 minutes each.

You'll also receive snacks, sandwiches, and ICE COLD non-alcoholic refreshments on the tour.

After your Swim we will pull-up to Faro Viejo Restaurant and enjoy a lunch buffet.

Minimum age: 8 years.

Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult

RT transportation included.

Snorkel equipment and life vest available.

Bi-lingual guides and boat captains are at your service throughout the tour.
This tour operates daily at 8:20 am | Riviera Maya pick up 5:30 - 6 AM

Touching and feeding Whale Sharks is strictly prohibited.

Don't forget to wear your bathing suit under your clothes and some comfortable shoes.

Bring a towel, insect repellent (bio degradable), and money for tips and/or souvenir t-shirts.
