TOUR FULL DESCRIPTION:
One of very few boats allowed access to the wild turtle reserve, you snorkel a beautiful enclosed reef with these huge, gentle turtles just inches away. With 2 or more stunning anchorages, fun fishing for all the family, and a friendly crew, this is off the beaten track exploring in luxury!
Your first stop of the day is an unpopulated hidden inlet called Chacalal. Here you will find a 1000yr old, small Mayan temple. You can still see the original stucco painting on the wall of this ancient ruin. You can explore the tranquil lagoon, snorkel the caves, or just chill out. Our complimentary drink service is available throughout the day. At this stop you’ll have the chance to receive some professional snorkelling instruction from our experienced guides in the chest deep turquoise blue waters. All your gear is included.
Next stop will be the incomparable sheltered bay and beach of Akumal, where your guide will take you snorkelling on the unspoiled coral reef with the famous turtles of Akumal. To swim with these protected animals in the wild is a real privilege and a truly unforgettable experience that few have the chance to enjoy. There, you will have time to sit back, relax and enjoy the view as you are served a delicious lunch at the beachside restaurant. Top it all off with a taste of one Mexico's favourite beverages – a margarita or cervezas! Ahhh, can’t you almost taste it?
You have the option of half or full day trips, and on the way back to the marina you can do some fun fishing with our fully equipped vessel. This trip is highly flexible. Music, toilet, twin coolers, showers and sun beds, plus new quiet Honda engines ensure your comfort.
